The wait is finally over. its now Katrina Kaif's name that is cropping up for Rajnikanth's Kochadayan.

Soundarya Rajnikanth had stated that she had met Katrina Kaif in person some time ago and that she was very excited that it was a Rajnikanth film and sounded very upbeat and positive about it.'

However the team is waiting for a final word of confirmation from her.

The movie has music by A R Rahman. Buzz is that it would go to floors in February.

Katrina Kaif has turned down a 3.5 crore offer to perform her item number, ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’ from Tees Maar Khan. Instead, the actress will be spending time with her family in the UK.

She reportedly said that she prefers enjoying herself instead of entertaining others on December 31. She says it’s like telling the audience, “I have no life.”
