I was conscious of my skin colour while growing up: Katrina
Katrina Kaif who plays an NRI girl in the upcoming film ‘New York’ empathises with her character as she faced similar isolation because of her skin colour while growing up in London.
The 24-year-old beauty who has been voted the sexiest Asian woman for two consecutive years, remembered her college days in London which were spent in constant consciousness of her racial identity.
“When I was in college in London that had a lot of Asians, I was always very aware of the colour of my skin, that I was an Asian. There was this certain kind of segregation in the college,” Katrina said in a TV interview.
